A typical day at Change Summer Day Camp is structured, high-energy, and designed to give campers a balance of fun, skill-building, and connection.
Campers begin campers rotate through a variety of programming blocks led by trained staff. These include activities such as sports and movement, creative arts, STEM and hands-on projects, performance, and outdoor games. Each session is intentionally designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and focused on building skills and confidence.
Campers come together for Summit where the community comes together to celebrate the wins for the day. This includes energy-builders, announcements, and setting expectations so everyone feels ready and excited for what’s ahead.
From there, Campers atten tehir remaining choice-based activities, building strong relationships with both peers and staff.
Transitions are structured and supported, ensuring that the day flows smoothly and campers stay engaged.
A snack break is built into the day to give campers time to recharge, socialize, and reset before continuing with activities.
Throughout the day, staff are actively supporting camper engagement, safety, and positive behavior, creating a space where all campers feel included and supported. In addition to daily programming, campers participate in special events, themed days, and camp-wide activities that bring extra excitement and variety to the experience.
The day typically closes with a group wrap-up - Tribe Insight, where campers reflect, celebrate highlights, and end the day feeling connected and accomplished.
